Pre-Reading Activities
How ugly is the true face of war? What actually is the human cost involved? In this blind game ,to quench the thirst of power , what are the little fingers that are being trampled upon? Yes ,  a modern reader is aware of all these grotesque implications of wars, invasions and attack, as we are doomed to live and breath , when millions are charred to death in any distant or nearby region of earth. We are bound to celebrate a birth in our family when that idiot box runs a commentary on a newly found mass grave, circa 1946…this is the irony of life! We know, we read, we feel we understand , we attempt these poems as part of our courses..and we move ahead…IN LIFE.
